Natural Gas Auxiliary Stations – Nationwide |
- VIASANT has been a multiyear contractor performing PCB decontamination activities at natural gas pipeline Compressor Stations located across the country.
- VIASANT crews have successfully performed removal of PCB impacted material through high pressure hot water blasting, kerosene and biodegradable cleaning, surface removal and demolition activities at over 40 separate locations.
- Utilizing level C personal protective equipment, VIASANT has decontaminated over 21,000 linear feet of trench, 56,000 sf of painted horizontal surfaces, decontaminated and repainted 150 pieces of equipment.
- Additional activities have included management of ACM abatement, restoration of horizontal surfaces and decontamination of more than 300,000 sf of facility superstructure.
- All impacted waste material was properly containerized, analyzed and shipped off site for disposal.
